December 1, 2025 | Mark Luis Foster

With November behind us (and going out like a lion, if I may borrow from the month of March), we are firmly looking ahead to 2026. One of the major initiatives for us is to get our new Chapter location, New Brighton, up and running.
We are devoting the first three months of that evening chapter’s programming to an “Introduction to Homeowner Associations for Board Leaders” course. While the January 6 class is already full, we have opened registrations for Tuesday, February 3, at 6 p.m.
This 90-minute course is free for HOALN members, and $50.00 for those who are not members. The course is designed to provide a proper overview of HOA board-related issues like governance, finances, homeowner rights, elections, record-keeping, board duties, and much more. The class comes with a comprehensive workbook that attendees can use as reference long after the course is done.
The event is intended for new board leaders, but even if you’ve been on a board for some time and could use a “reframing” or refresher, this course could be of benefit too.
