We kicked off the new year with a bang by offering our first ever Introduction to Homeowner Associations for Board Leaders course. This curriculum was created by the HOA Leadership Network out of a demand for new board orientation and refresher training. The course is 90-minutes long and covers everything from MCIOA to fiduciary responsibilities, board obligations and much more.

Our first class had over 30 people at our evening class, another first for us (the evening part!). We have another one scheduled for February, and the class is already full.  However, we just opened the third class on March 3.

We’re making a few tweaks for next time, but participants thought it was a good first event.
