Hard to believe there’s only two more months of chapter meetings left in the year. Our largest each month in the metro is the Eagan chapter, as it was established first and draws from a considerable distance. We have three solid speakers on Tuesday that you won’t want to miss.
Ask the HOA Attorney: Finn Jacobsen of SJJ Law will be in the house this time, and he plans an “open forum” that allows for any HOA leader to ask a legal question related to HOAs. I’m sure we’ll wander into SF 1750 territory too.
HOA Winterization: Your HOA property should be Mother Nature Proofed. Scott Hurm of Crest Exteriors has a great presentation on how HOAs should be ready for the winter.
Internet and Fiber: Many HOAs are asleep while technology changes right next door. Fiber to the home is an infrastructure that is coming quickly to most communities, and that means internet services are being treated more and more like a utility. If HOAs don’t act, they may find themselves a technological “island” where they are stuck in a coax cable world. Joe Berg of Mereo Fiber presents.
