If you think you know everything there is to know about asphalt, think again. HOAs grapple with asphalt issues all time, whether it’s due to heaving sidewalks or walking paths, cracked and uneven driveways or guest parking lots that look more like the lunar surface than a parking lot.

One of the great parts of this role that I have with HOA Leadership Network is that I get to talk to experts about a lot of things, and I confess it might be on topics that I would not ordinarily seek out for more info. Like asphalt, for example. What in the world is there to know about asphalt, other than it needs to get laid down and forgotten?

Turns out: A lot. In this new edition of HOA Today, I sat down with Joe Hagen of J&W Asphalt of Burnsville to discuss asphalt, various scenarios, environmentally applications, and much more. Joe is passionate about the topic, and he knows his stuff.  He’s also speaking at the next Eagan Chapter meeting on November 11.
