With all the legislative buzz these days on HOA reform in Minnesota, the information is flowing fast and furious. We are awaiting updates on the two bills that are going through the House and Senate. In the meantime, our sponsor, SJJ Law, is holding an informational session on Saturday (March 22) to bring HOA leaders up to speed on potential impacts of the law.

We recommend that boards attend this session if you haven’t been able to attend our chapter meetings. They’ll provide a summary of changes being made to the bills and discuss the various efforts underway to change some of the legislation’s provisions. My understanding is this session was originally to be focused on insurance; but with the legislation unfolding so quickly, they have pivoted to this format and will cover aspects of insurance, time permitting.
