It was a full morning for Lynn Boergerhoff and me as we appeared on two separate panel discussions at the 13th Annual Minnesota Condo & Homeowners Association Summit, sponsored by the Minnesota Real Estate Journal. It was held at the Golden Valley Country Club and started promptly at 8 a.m.

This conference provides continuing education credit for realtors and covered a wide range of topics, from management practices of HOAs, to insurance, legal issues, HOA reform legislation, and much more. Speakers included Phaedra Howard of Hellmuth & Johnson, with panels being filled with the likes of representatives from FirstService Residential, RowCal, Sharper Image, Guild Home Mortgage, Insurance Warehouse, SJJ Law and more. Lynn participated on the panel that discussed insurance practices and trends, while I was on a panel that discussed market conditions, communications, conflict resolution and management practices related to association boards and properties. It was a great conference with lots of terrific info. Hopefully realtors got something out of it.
