It’s been a strong start for the HOA Leadership Network. On January 6 we delivered our first ever “Introduction to HOAs for Board Leaders” course and on Friday we kicked off our January chapter meetings in Oakdale. All month long, we’re featuring “HOA Trees” as a main topic, which is always a top request from members when we ask about subjects to cover at meetings.

Ron Zillmer from Legacy-Trees is always entertaining and educational, and this month is no exception. He intermingles his own comments with video clips of a walk-around that was conducted last August in our own HOA here in Lakeville, where we have some 440 trees inventoried and cared for on a regular basis. If you’re interested in tree care, you don’t want to miss this one.

We are also featuring a real world case study that’s up for discussion. It happens to be based on a real HOA issue from Georgia, and we recently blogged about it HERE.  The HOA located near Atlanta is experiencing sink holes, which are popping up like wack-a-mole across their large property. We pose the question: What would YOU do as an HOA leader?  The discussion is sure to be entertaining and educational too!

Don’t miss our January chapters, coming up in Eagan (Jan 13), Bloomington (Jan 26) and Maple Grove (Jan 27). Our New Brighton chapter is devoted to two more moths of board leader courses, so normal chapter programming won’t begin until April.

To RSVP, please visit our site HERE.  We appreciate your advanced registration so we know that you’re coming.

In February, we begin our Spring Start-Up Series of speakers.  Spring can’t come quick enough.

See you then!
